Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Alex was influenced by the city's diverse styles and culture. After graduating from Michigan State University, he began work in marketing and tech. First, with early stage startups, then moving on to large companies... taking him from Detroit to San Diego, to Boston...and back to SoCal.

   His journey into entertainment started in San Diego, 2017, collaborating with friends in the automotive YouTube space. As CMO of throtl, he helped the company secure capital investment, brand deals, merch drops, and worked with friends to turn the automotive brand into a content and ecommerce powerhouse.

   After his work with throtl, he relocated to Los Angeles to join one of Hollywood's top video production companies, Ridge Production, working furiously to deepen his knowledge and love of cinematography before eventually taking on his first of many director roles.
